In a critical moment this organization came up when all
other organization became inactive in outlying oriya tract.

Purnanaga Utkala is a registered Trust Board,
registered vide No.1458 of 1997, whole heartedly and whole time devoted
organization in protecting and developing Odiya language and culture in Odisha
and in outlying tract of Odisha where crores of odia speaking people live and
try their best to protect their mother language as also rich culture &
tradition. It has its 24 branches in several places in and outside Odisha.
i.
Supply
of text books which was stopped from 1980 was restarted from 1997 and thousands
of Books of all subject from class-I to X were supplied. Part time Chatsalis
were started in 25 places where there was no school in Sareikala, Kharsuan and
Chakradharpur area of Bihar now in Jharkhand state. Sixteen (16) text books
were translated from Class-I to Class-VIII.
ii.
Till
now in Jharkhand, Chhatisgarh and Andhra more than 50,000 thousand odiya
Barnabodha have been supplied. Besides about 11,000 library books have been
supplied and four such libraries have been organized at Sareikala, Kharsuan and
Chakradharpur.
iii.
Though
political boundary of Odisha is limited the Jagannath Desh is expanding in
Jharkhand, Chhatisgarh, Andhra and Bengal through establishment of Bhagabat
Tungi by supplying Odia Bhagabat of Atibadi Jagannath Das, at least in 127
villages. Thousands of Osha bar and Brata books like Manabasha, Tapoi,
Khudurikuni, Mangalastuti, Sabitribrata, sudasabrata etc., have been supplied
in hundreds of village in those areas for protection of odia culture. All these
are free of cost. For this generous odia people donate in cash and in shape of
books.
iv.
Many
people have given fix deposit to open chatsali for odia teaching out of their
interest. At least 9 health camps have been organized in odia tract in
Jharkhand and Chhatisgarh providing free treatment with free supply of
medicine.
v.
At
least in 8 places odia prabachana campus have been organized to protect Odia
Culture.
vi.
Every
year on 1st January (English New Year) and 14th April,
odia New Year days, we regularly arrange public meetings and sahitya sabha with
kabi Sammilani and publish a magazine known as “Maitri- Samparkara Setu”.
Similarly in Bichhinnanchala and boarder district of Odisha we have organized
several kabi Sammilanis to protect odia culture and tradition.
vii.
We
have provided technical, manual and material assistance to revive ratha yatra
and dolayatra in Kharsuan and Sadheikala.

We

ix. The organization has
published more than 200 articles, in newspapers and magazines to attract the
public opinion about odia language and culture in outlying odia tract. Besides scholarship
to encourage odia reading and tips have been given to volunteers to enlist odia
people during Janaganana. In and outside odisha persuding people to use odia
name plate and hoarding in their houses and trade organizations. To keep up
odia reading, writing and speaking more than 10 thousand leaflets have been distributed
“known as Ekadasa Brata”. We have also requested all the officers of all
departments to make their transaction in Oriya language as there is no legal
bar. Till now about 200 persons voluntarily enlisted as life members of this
organization contributing Rs.1000/- thousand each. Similarly at least 10 persons
have contributed lump sum amount of 50,000/- as fix deposit; the interest
amount is being utilized to establish chatasali in outlying tracts.

Till
now more than 100 persons have been awarded and honoured and certificate given
by the organization who are working in the field of developing odia language.
xi. To maintain transparency
the account of the orgnaisation is being audited every year by M/s. Panda and
Charted accounts and the result is published in our annual report published
every year.
xii. The organization has
enlisted cooperation of one dozen of such persons and societies working in the
field to help each other.
xiii. The organization can
trustfully assure full protection of Odia language & culture in outlying
tracts if at least 100 crores of rupees can be made available by way of
deposits. For the praiseworthy work thousands of praise are pouring in which
encourage us to further our activities.
